DualEdge is a personal stock research and analysis project built and operated by one person, not a company. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what happens to it.
If you just browse the site — the scanner, Daily Scan, Movers, Theme Watchlist, Earnings Calendar, and everything else — nothing personal is collected. No account is required to use any of it.
If you create an account, DualEdge collects:
DualEdge does not collect your name, home address, phone number, date of birth, government ID, payment information, or physical location. There's no reason for a stock-scanner account to need any of that, so it doesn't ask.
DualEdge uses one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you logged in. It's marked HttpOnly (JavaScript on the page can't read it) and Secure (only sent over HTTPS). There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies anywhere on the site.
The homepage also uses your browser's local storage to remember if you've dismissed the "Log in / Sign up" welcome banner. That value never leaves your browser.
DualEdge is built on a few outside services, each with a specific, limited role:
DualEdge does not sell, rent, or share your email or account information with advertisers or data brokers. It never has, and that's not a business model this site is pursuing.

Your account is never used to send marketing email, and there are currently no plans to add that.
Account information is kept for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and all associated data deleted, email the address below — there's no self-service deletion button yet, but any request will be honored.
Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. The site runs over HTTPS. Login attempts are rate-limited to slow down automated guessing. No security measure is perfect, but these are the concrete ones in place today.
DualEdge is not directed at children under 13, and the site does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact the email below and it will be removed.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
